Our story
Rooted in Richmond
We started Bloomscape Pros because we believed Richmond deserved a container planting service that took the craft seriously — one that treated every property, large or small, with the same care and attention to detail.
How we began
From a Single Front Door to a City-Wide Practice
For more than 30 years, we have been creating beautiful outdoor spaces across Richmond — and Bloomscape Pros grew naturally from that long history of craft and client care. What began as an extension of our creativity and our deep satisfaction in making clients happy has become Richmond's most trusted exterior container planting service.
From the beginning, our philosophy has been simple: beautiful outdoor spaces don't happen by accident. They require thoughtful design, premium plants, and consistent, attentive care. We bring all three to every property we work with, whether it's a single front door arrangement or a full commercial campus programme.
Today, our team of horticulturalists, designers, and maintenance specialists works across Richmond's most distinctive neighbourhoods — The Fan, Church Hill, Carytown, the West End, and beyond — as well as the city's finest hotels, office buildings, and retail destinations.
What drives us
Our Values
Craft over convenience
We source the finest seasonal plants and containers, and we take the time to get every arrangement right. There are no shortcuts in our process.
Reliability you can count on
When we say we'll be there, we're there. Our clients trust us to show up on schedule, every season, without being chased.
Design that fits the property
We don't use templates. Every design is tailored to the architecture, palette, and character of the specific property we're working with.
Richmond, through and through
We live and work here. We know the neighbourhoods, the microclimates, and the seasons. That local knowledge shows in everything we plant.

Proud to Serve Richmond
Richmond is one of America's most beautiful cities — a place where historic architecture, vibrant neighbourhoods, and a genuine love of outdoor living come together. We're proud to play a small part in making it even more beautiful, one container at a time.
